HBO: Hung.

July 13, 2009 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · 8 Comments

I got to see the first two episodes of HBO new original series titled Hung. It is about a guy who is well hung, has a big member if you know what I mean… His life isn’t going very well economically and in other ways and has realized that he actually is hung and people would pay for that. He decides to run his own escort service marketing that he is hung. So far the series doesn’t look bad, quite interesting as HBO series always are. The only minor problem I have with it so far is that it is not as funny as I thought it would be and so far the story isn’t going very far, there doesn’t seem to be a great story that makes me want to see more and what is going to happen next. It has only been two episodes yet so we will have to see how it keeps developing and where it goes from here. It isn’t a bad show and you should take a look at it, the show, when you have some time.

PS: I love the song at the end, the soundtrack, it goes very well with the show. The song is called My Dick by Mickey Avalon.

True Blood.

June 17, 2009 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

True Blood is definetly the new television show addiction. It reminds me a lot of Twilight in the whole vampire setting and mixes with romance. But True Blood has a lot more interesting characters with different abilities. Also since it is an HBO series it could get pretty bloody at times. Most of the episodes also include a lot of sex scenes. But none the less it is very addicting to watch always wanting to find out what is going to happen next or why are certain things happening. It takes place in a parallel present, vampires exist and have come out to the public but most of the public don’t see them as a human and thus do not deserve certain rights or any rights and maybe shouldn’t exist. Vampire blood is considered a drug which will give you different effects depending on where the blood came from and how much you take of it. The whole story is very interesting and is no wonder why it is one of HBOs biggest hit since The Sopranos. Try catching it on HBO Sunday nights

Heroes, Villains.

September 23, 2008 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

The best television show of these times is back. Heroes had a two hour premiere yesterday and as usual they didn’t disappoint anyone I know. Adding more twists to the already complicated story; this season is dedicated to villains, the bad guys. And to make it even better they have introduced a whole new set of villains who are considered a lot more dangerous than Sylar. I will be sure to be tuned in every Monday at 9pm watching heroes. It is not too late for people to catch up and join the show. And if you missed the premiere you can always catch the episodes online on NBC’s website.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

January 14, 2008 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

Finally a new show that I could look forward to watching. The Sarah Connor Chronicles started yesterday (Jan. 13th) and it was a great first show. It reminds me of the first time I saw Terminator I and Terminator II. They even used some famous quotes from the movie like “come with me if you want to live”. They also used the same house where they killed the guy who “created” the war of robots. Just from one episode I could say that it is going to be a great show this season and I recommend it to anyone who likes good shows, specially if you were a fan of Terminator. The whole series is based on what happened after Terminator II, the kid is a bit older and new adventures await. Don’t miss it.

Roast of Flavor Flav.

August 13, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · 1 Comment

I love Comedy Central’s Roast. The best I’ve seen so far is the Pamela Anderson Roast, I think the jokes were awesome, one after another. This year Comedy Central was roasting Flavor Flav. The whole show was ok. The host of the show was Katt Williams who is a great “new” comedian. The show had it’s usual roast master like the queen of evil Lissa Lampanelli and Jimmy Kimmel (I don’t know how to write their names). Some people where horrible at telling jokes, like the big blond “girl”. They should of brought up one of the Flavor of Love girls, people picked on them like crazy. Snoop Dog was extremely high or drunk but put down a good show. Ice T was ok, not much of a comedian. Next year they should make sure that what people are saying is actually funny because Flavor Flav did horrible. I don’t even know if he was talking or telling jokes, either way it sucked. But it is something to catch on tv or just go to the website and watch the highlights aka the most funny parts.

Real World: Sydney.

August 10, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

The reality show king of all times, Real World. Wednesday was the season premier of Real World Sydney. I completely missed the premier because I forgot about it but today I saw the first episode. We are so used to seeing Real World that when they aren’t giving one we feel empty (not). This season Real World brings what it does best, drama, drama, sex and drama. Straight from the first episode, which you can watch online , we see the division in the house and who is going to be the drama queens. The girl from New York brings the New York attitude and she is going to be the one to suffer the most. She obviously has issues and doesn’t get along well with others or at least she doesn’t try. This is going to be another exiting season of Real World and I will be watching, not every Wednesday, but any other day that I catch it on Mtv.

The Pick Up Artist.

August 6, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

Vh1 new tv show, The Pick Up Artist aired earlier this night. Before watching the show it seemed a bit dumb, it looked like another beauty and the geek without them being pairs, just the geeks. But now that I’ve seen the show it seems very entertaining. I’ve known so many guys that feel very insecure about talking to a girl, picking up a girl or anything else. I use to have that fear to, I think every guy goes through it but most of us get the hang of it pretty quick; others don’t…. This new show should help all those guys that doubt them self. One quick tip… the guy Mystery… I’ve seen people that pick up girls a lot better, he’s all show. If he would be so good at what he does he would probably have wife by now, he’s obviously picking up all the wrong girls. Didn’t anyone learn from Hitch ? I’ll keep watching the show every now and then because it is a bit entertaining but I still prefer to watch Kyle XY and Greek.

First Episode of Heroes Directed by Kevin Smith.

July 29, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

One of the new best tv shows was Heroes. The story of different strangers with different powers on a journey to save the world. All of them start meeting up at different time and sometimes fight on the wrong side. The story was amazing and the special effects were near perfect. After the first season was over they announced that there was going to be a spin of, about the origin of Heroes. It was recently announced in Comic Con that Kevin Smith will direct the first episode. Can’t wait until Heroes starts again :D

Room 401, New Mtv Show.

July 18, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

Today was the series premier of Mtv’s new tv show called Room 401. So far I’m not liking it. It reminded me a lot of the show that was on Sci-Fi called Scare Tactics, but a bad version of it. Scare Tactics was funny an would scare the crap out of people. Room 401, not so much. Room 401 should show the people when they tell them it was a prank/joke because as far I know they could all be actors. It also seems that most of it is camera tricks (like the guy coming back from the dead). I’m surprised that Ashton Kutcher is one of the directors of this, it seems like he wanted to do Punk’d but the scary version of it and they just gave him a new show. Very disappointed at this show, I was expecting better. You can see the full Episode 1 of Room 401 online from mtv, free.

Victoria Beckham, Coming To America.

July 16, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Tv · Comment

Today was the premier for the new NBC reality show called Coming To America. The show is about Victoria Beckham, David Beckham’s wife and her transition of coming to America, living in a new country. She is also known as being Posh Spice, ex Spice Girls singer. The show is a bit interesting because it shows how different cultures could be, not because she is famous or anything else. She seems to have opinions about everyone including Paris Hilton which she reminds me a bit of, maybe they will start rumors about both of them or maybe they’ll party together. For now the show is good and it is a big hit because everyone wants to see Celeb’s life, and she is the new it.
