Sicko, Michael Moore Has Done It Again.

June 30, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Movies · Comment

Michael Moore has done it again. I just saw Sicko , Michael Moore’s new documentary about the Health System in the United States and compared to other countries. I found it quite funny because everyone thinks the United States is the best country of all times, nothing is better than the U.S., but Michael Moore has proven wrong. Yes, the U.S. has great things but it lacks on some, like Heal Insurance. During the movie he compares the Health System of Canada, which has a bad reputation in the media just because the U.S. wants to give it a bad reputation. It is also compared to the Health System in France and England where everything is free.

And the most talked about part of the movie is when he compares us to Cuba. Which is known to most americans as the most evil country of all times. Cuba, the owww so awful comunist country (sarcasm) has free health treatment and medicine is really cheap. It sucks that in this “great” country, where we have so many wealthy people and so hyped about everything we can’t have the same Health System that these other great country’s have. This movie is amazing, a must see. Only one small problem, when comparing the cost for medicine in Cuba, yes it is very cheap but… how much does a regular cuban earns? That would of been nice to know.

Go Watch It, it is worth it 100%

Spice Girls Reunited, World Tour.

June 28, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Music · Comment

I remember the Spice Girls, they were hip and cool (back then). They were so big they even got their own weird movie which wasn’t that bad, it was funny. After they broke up some of them went solo, some did good, some did horrible. Today they announced that they are back together and are going on a World Tour. I don’t know why but it seems very strange that they want to tour “together” again. I think they must be running out of money or they just want some more money. Im pretty sure they will do great in their tour and it will be very expensive. They’re also releasing a best hits album which should be a good CD to have around to remember old days. Here are tour dates and location so far:

Los Angeles – 7th December 2007
Las Vegas – 8th December
New York – 11th December
London – 15th December
Koln – 20th December
Madrid – 23rd December
Beijing – 10th January 2008
Hong Kong – 12th January
Sydney – 17th January
Cape Town – 20th January
Buenos Airies – 24th January

Microsoft Will Offer 500mb of Online Storage.

June 27, 2007 · Filed Under Microsoft, Tech · Comment

Everyone has their bets on Online Storage and everything being done online. Microsoft is also going after the online market. They unveiled an online web storage that is beta right now and offered to limited users. So far it is only 500mb of storage but it will most likely be bigger in a future because of other competitors who offer more. Gmail could be used as online storage and offers 3gb so far. AOL offers 5gb, 10 times more than Microsoft. So hopefully it will be good and better or they just lost another market.

Will Ferrel is one of the funniest people alive. He is well known for his great skits in Saturday Night Life and also for famous movies like Anchorman, Old School, Blades of Glory and many others. Recently he posted a video online of him and his daughter doing a skit about a Landlord; it was instantly well known through media and the internet. Now he comes back with another great skit with his cute daughter. It is not as funny as the first one but it is still good. It’s called Good Cop, Baby Cop.

WWE Wrestler, Chris Benoit found dead.

June 26, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment · Comment

Chris Benoit a young wrestler who use to be part of the WWC and then joined the WWF, now WWE; was found dead in his house. He was found dead along his wife and 8 year old kid. If you were/are a fan of wrestling you would know that Benoit was one of the best, strong, never scared, always fun. His death comes to a surprice to everyone seing that there isn’t any real explanation yet of what caused his and his family’s death. Right now it is being treated as a murder case, nothing is being ruled out.

Chris Benoit

A year ago his good friend Eddy Guerrero also passed away from a fatal heart attack. If you want to know more about Chris Benoit’s life visit Wikpedias info or Google some YouTube videos.

R.I.P. Chris Benoit and family.

UPDATE: Chris Benoit strangled wife, smothered son, hanged himself. That is a tragedy. Motives are not known yet but I say crazy so far.

YouTube Gives Me Your FTP Password.

June 25, 2007 · Filed Under Google, Security, Tech · Comment

Thanks to Google, hackers have it a lot easier to find things. The famous website Johnny I Hack Stuff shows different tricks on how to find certain things. Since google finds everything that people let it, people are also able to find certain files that aren’t really ment to be seen by everyone. The latest Google Hack is using YouTube to find users and passwords for ftp sites. With this query we can find many ftp users, passwords and the address for the ftp.

The “flaw” is that if you click on a YouTube video from your ftp, logged in, then YouTube will record the referral with it’s full address which includes the user and password for the ftp. The simple solution would be to not click on YouTube links from your FTP. The other solution would be Google filtering the refferals so it wouldn’t capture users and their passwords.

Why Are Blogs Fun to Read ?

June 23, 2007 · Filed Under Ideas & Thoughts · 1 Comment

I was thinking about this while I searched for random sites and read random posts. Blogs are very popular now, the main reason is that anyone could have one and you don’t need to be an expert at doing websites or anything else. It is as easy as using microsoft word and checking your emails. The reason I like reading blogs is because is new information, it’s personal information. It’s not what the media wants or what sells (some blogs do), it’s what the person or group like. This is why blogs are the new thing, people can beat the news channel on when to say a story. They might have more details because maybe the person was there when something happened. After a couple of years, media has discovered that personal things sell (reality tv). If everyone blogs and writes nice and good information or good things it would be great. The internet keeps evolving in good ways.

BayImg, free uncensored image hosting.

June 21, 2007 · Filed Under Tech · Comment

The “famous” torrent website The Pirate Bay just started a new website called BayImg to host images. Of course there is already a bunch of websites that let you houst your images online with some limit of bandwidth which is more than enough for most people, unless your hosting your myspace stuff. But the guys from pirate buy offer upto 100mb of image to store. You can also upload zip’s and rar’s. And that sounds great to a certain point, because I dont know many people that have images over 50mb.

The Pirate Bay is known for their torrent website which was almost completely shutdown. But they move their servers to some far away country and bought there own place where their are no laws except the ones they make. Not much of a real place, just some platform in the middle of nowhere good enough to put servers.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

June 19, 2007 · Filed Under Entertainment, Movies · Comment

★★☆☆☆
Rise of the Silver Surfer is better than the first Fantastic Four, no doubt about that. But I still believe it is not a very good movie. There is something about this movie that doesn’t make it great or awesome. It might be the corny lines, bad story lines or just not meant to be a great movie. The past part of this movie is Silver Surfer. I think maybe he could get his own movie. Once again this movie has gone bad but it is a bit better than the first. It makes a good Netflix rent or blockbuster, whatever you use.

Send free SMS to any phone company.

June 14, 2007 · Filed Under Google, Tech · 2 Comments

Thank you Google.

Google has this new toolbar thing where you can send a message to your phone or someone elses phone with part of the text of a website. Im not really sure how it works because I dont have Google’s toolbar but that is what I have read so far. Here is the link to send your free text messages to anyone, no matter what company: http://www.google.com/sendtophone .

The other cool thing I just learned from google is that now they have a quick “query” device for phones. You send a text message to Google (466453) and they would answer you back with a couple of answers. You could practice with their online demo. This comes in very useful for when you’re in the streets and cant find something or need movie times.
