Korn Unplugged.

One of my all time favorite bands was Korn. Growing up it was all I use to blast in my room and love the broken doll from one there covers. As years passed I felt like Korn started to sell out, there was no tough strong lyrics behind them, it seemed a lot more comercial than personal. A couple of weeks ago I found out that Korn did an unplugged and they performed there popular songs with special guests. They started off with Blind; that brought back good memories of the power Jonathan David (lead singer) has in his voice. They followed with the world famous song (and the video is pretty famous), Freak On a Leash with special guest Amy Lee from Evanescence, she did a great job and made the song almost a masterpiece. Even without the strong distortion you can feel the strong harmonics and rythm of the songs, and even though there is no heavy screaming you could still feel the power in his voice.

Falling Away From Me, my all time favorite song from them came after; it was great, just like in the old days. They decided to play a cover song from Radio Head, Creep, which is a great song and I think they picked wise and a good song for them. They play a couple more songs and bring out another special guest, Robert Smith and people from an old band called The Cure (I’ve never heard from them, Im pretty sure they’re famous as hell) . If you were ever a Korn fan and loved there old stuff I definetly recommend watching this unplugged. It is a blast from the past and Korn has gone one step further in their music doing this unplugged.
