Smokin’ Aces

Smokin’ Aces, now this is a crazy movie !

This movie is about this big mafia boss who aparently has gone way to high and someone else offers 1 million for him. A couple of contract killers are after him, trying to claim this money. At the same time the FBI is trying to get to him to put him under the witness protection program. Its a killing race. Everyone ends up in the same place, blood all over the place. The movie might seem a bit boring during times but it is worth it, towards the end everything starts rushing and starts getting confusing as everyone is fighting against everyone.

The ending is pretty good. Lately I have been seing movies with crapy ending but this one does it. It is an unexpected ending, at least I did not see it coming. I truly recomend this movie, it is worth the time.

I give it a B-.

MySpace Power.

Everyone knows the world famous website MySpace. For everyone else who lives in a cave; myspace is a friendship network oriented website, people set up a profile site and add friends and pictures and all that other things, just like hi5 and others. It is known as one of the top10 most visited websites in the internet and probably top20 most popular websites online. With all this popularity also comes lots of contreversy. It is known for atracting sex offenders and just creepy old people looking for kids. Also since it is a big site it gets lots of spam and hacking attempts.

MySpace has grown to be such a big network that it apparently has the power to shut down a whole website just by saying it. Some security list website posted a link to another or hosted a site that had thousands of usernames and passwords. When MySpace found out about this they talked with GoDaddy (they manage websites, basically control most websites because many people use their service) and GoDaddy with out further questions shut down the site. MySpace did not warn or talk to the site who hosted the passwords.

This is also very wrong by GoDaddy they should of issued a warning or talked it out before putting out a website just because MySpace said to. They are not their boss and thus they should have no power over what should be done. You could all read more about this on SecurityFocus.com

Love is Chocolate Flavored

Sometimes I like to do some rhymes, show my romantic side, write something nice. No secret that I love poetry and I’m a sucker for romanticism (girls who know me). Im also a chocolate fan, love my chocolate chips cookies, want to make me happy buy me some chocolate. So this I wrote this morning with some lines throwed in by my good old friend Max , hope you enjoy it:

we could split a twix,
bunch in a crunch,

we could go m&m later,
share some hershey kisses,
twizzlers our tongue,
make a big starburst,

unless you want to kit-kat a little more,

I would tear you apart,
Into reeses pieces

‘Cause you’re my Nutella,
my only “bella”,

N’ if the night gets cold,
we can share some hershey hugs,

And you… with all ur good attributes,
turn my life into milky way,

I’ll be your musketeer,
bring some skittles to your life,
‘Cause I would never make you shed a tear,

So kick back,
put your snickers on,
Im taking u on a ride full of chocolate,
Just show some love

Battleship

In Computer Science 2 they made is due our first “project”. What they mean by project is create a “real” program from scratch with instructions that contradict themself and not very clear always. It was an easy thing to code but error checking was horrible since I am not very familiar with Java. The project was a 1 player Battleship game (who plays Battleship by themself?) , reading the boats from a file.

This were the instructions that they gave us: Battleship v2

And this is my code that I submited: Battleship

I hope everyone enjoys, coding is a bit slopy but when your rushing time it’s hard to write nice code.

In the heat of the night.

It’s dark, hot, music blasting, dancing, it’s fantastic, the party is going. Then you do that one thing you know you will regret the next day… While Im doing it, I know I should stop, it’s not worth it. My blood is flowing, feels good, can’t stop it now. Now it is too late, it is already tomorrow and I am regreting it, this is why I am blogging it.

I hope to look back one day at this blog and remember how I was not able to control myself under certain situations. But the truth is guys are decks, we love playing and even though there are certain games we should not play, we still do because it is temptation.

Theres nothing that I like more than when someone says you’ll never get close to that girl. I love proving people wrong, because you do not know my limits, I do not know my limits. And there is nothing better than to look at your friends and say “I did”. Do not underestimate me, you do not know me.

I hate the feeling of regret. What’s done, it’s done, better leave it alone and don’t regret it.

You might not understand this post, thus, it might not be here forever.
Im sorry, I dont like you;

Gmail Vulnerable To Contact List Hijacking

Happy New Year Everyone!!! The best way to start this year is with a new security bug found in Gmail. It appears that Gmail stores our contact list information on a simple JavaScript file that could be read with a simple XSS. I dont know if you could access this file without XSS but I do know that you have to be loged in in order to see this. This was posted today on Digg and it seems as there will be more to come. This reminds me of the almost famous Gmail Bug that was found by Anelkaos, during that investigation we discovered how Gmail works its way around and I remember that many things are kept in JavaScript and if there where to be an XSS you could probably extract everything.
