Spontaneous Road Trip

December 10, 2006 · Filed Under College Life 101

It was friday night and I was with a group of friends thinking about our options on what to do. We could of gone ice skating, see a movie, go to a crapy party or just hang out in someones apartment. But my cousin was telling us to be spontaneous and lets just go to Binghampton University and visit some of his friens and stay over night. We all thought he was crazy in sounded like a great idea but not very plausible considering its already 8pm. After him explaining how many people in there life are never really spontaneous and they usualy plan things, he convinced one of my friends. But still had no ride to get there and our friend with a car didn’t want to drive all the way down there. He realized my roomate has a car so I gave him his number and he explained the whole idea.

By 11:30pm (more or less) we where at Binghampton University at one of his friends house. We spent the whole night there having fun, playing games, and doing what college students usualy do. Next day we continued our road trip towards Syracuse because my roomate, my cousin and I where going to go watch Carlos Mencia, his new tour The Punisher. It was crazy funny, definetly a must watch. We got back home at around 2am, all of this the consequence of being spontaneous. And I believe it was totaly worth it and next weekend we should get spontaneous again and go somewhere else.
